Research and responsibility in the lab: Exploring the role of TLQP-21/C3aR1 in the central nervous system

Since birth, the Twin Cities have always felt like home to me and I've never had the urge to be anywhere else. Naturally, I attended the University of Minnesota and obtained my B.S. in Neuroscience (2018) and am actively pursuing my Ph.D. in the graduate program of Integrative Biology & Physiology under Dr. Bartolomucci. This program and lab allow me to get the best of both worlds when it comes to studying neuroscience with an emphasis on whole-body physiology, so there couldn't have been a more perfect fit for me. Outside of the lab, there is nothing I'd rather be doing than spending time with my lovely wife and daughter; they are what drive me afterall. Other than that, I love finding, listening to, and writing about obscure music, as well as collecting records and being as much of an audiophile as I can while on a grad students stipend. Sleep is also a fabulous thing.
