Biography
My name is Matteo Veglia, and I received my B.S. in Biology from the University of St. Thomas in May 2026. Prior to joining the Bartolomucci Lab, my research experience included cellular toxicology and work with mesenchymal stromal cells in craniosynostosis patients. My research interests in the lab include how chronic stress accelerates aging and the role stress plays in age related pathologies. In my future career I would like to continue my education through graduate school and pursue a career in research. Outside of the lab, I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, cooking, and traveling.
