I have a Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of La Salle from Bogota Colombia. I worked in Colombia as the director of the animal research for the south area of Colombia South America for 6 years. I have a Master in science from the UMN.
In 1998 I started working with Dr. Osborn as his lab manager and scientist.
Since 2016 I serve as Physiology Core Manager, directed by Dr Bartolomucci.
Research and responsibility in the lab: Manager of the Physiology Core. I execute surgical procedures or echocardiograms in rodents. I also assists new investigators with the adminsitrative steps required to conduct in vivo research at our institution. I have a great experience in various surgical procedures in rodents, such that I can also develop or adapt techniques if needed.
